Meet Katie! Last Friday I took some portraits for my studio mates because we all need to send in photos of ourselves to be featured next to our work at the CalArts end of the year graphic design exhibition. As those of you who’ve been Flickr friends of mine for a while know, I’m always down for portraiture! It was a really good time and I’ve been having a lot of fun editing in the past few days. —-In other photo news, Johns Hopkins’ “Imagine” Magazine will be publishing one of my photographs in their summer issue! It will be available in print as well as online. More updates to come!

Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts.

We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him.

We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Who has given counsel to the Lord?
Who can question any of His words?
Who can teach the One who knows all things?
Who can fathom all His wondrous deeds?
