I feel like it’s an artist’s curse to almost always hate one’s work, and to almost never feel finished with any given piece. But for once I have put together fifteen pieces of work that I am proud of and ready to put out there for colleges to see. Ideally, I want to add 5 more strong graphic design pieces before I submit it in my applications, and even more ideally I might swap...

So it turns out my diversity design WAS chosen.
ASB called me into the office during sixth period on Friday and explained to me that my design was chosen but that they thought the print would be too small on a t-shirt. (Ironic because I designed it specifically for a t-shirt, but alas.) Anyway, they ended up giving me a diversity t-shirt with the runner up design printed on it, and 25$ to amazon.com! (One of my steady online love affairs<3)...

My mommy said I could get my cartilage pierced so...
I really want to get those tiny gold rings. I’ll stick with one cartilage piercing for now to avoid freaking my mom out but I think if this one doesn’t hurt too badly/get infected I’ll eventually want to get two more. The only thing is, I’ve been researching about whether to get it done with a needle or a gun and there are so many arguments for each side. And I have no idea...
